Today at work, the construction going on next to our building knocked out the internet and I suddenly became very aware that I am addicted to the internet (mostly google). I would try to open a website every five minutes to look up something relating to my work. When I couldn't get it open, I would just give up on that task. It was quite the eye opener.
For example, I had to register a dll so our program could recognize it, but I couldn't remember the command to do so (for anyone's reference, it is regsvr32 dllName.dll).
Thank you comcast for fixing the problem quickly so I could get back to effective work again.

Already know you were addicted. It is kind of like the power going off.
I know what you mean. Even Joseph makes use of the verb "google". 'Can you google that for me?' How did anyone ever survive without instant look up of every thing they wondered? I couldn't find my kids school phone number, craft store coupons, library books to put on hold, etc. w/o good old google (although I'm not sold on Google Chrome yet)
I love google too. Kim introduced me to a new search engine and I just can't remember to use it because I love google so much!
I was just going to tell you about the new search engine tami mentioned. It is called my search bonus...you can earn gas gift cards, people!! Hello! But...I must admit, I still use google when I need something important, or images.
