So I’ve been really bad about updating, so expect a bunch of updates all in a row…
I left off from our Christmas trip at our first stop. Our second stop was The Boyer family’s house. We spent a lot of time chilling there too, but spent more time playing games. We got some settlers of catan gaming in (only the best game ever, for those who have never heard of it). We also played nertz, which is another fun game.
While at their house, Schick was running a nice promotion, which we decided to exploit to our greatest benefit. How it worked was this:
1. Go To Sleighbellsrock.com
2. Enter the code ‘schickrocks08’
3. Download 1 free song (from a nice selection, but it was no iTunes)
4. Refresh the page
5. Repeat steps 1-4 as desired.
The only catch was you had to do it really late at night, 1 am EST. Together we ended up downloading around 60 free songs. Not too shabby for $0.00.
Maddie was great fun and we loved watching the kids chase each other around the house.
Tami showed us some awesome Gymboree bubbles. They are very pop resistant. You can actually catch them on your fingers, and for days after blowing a bunch, you can find bubble still hiding on walls and under things. They are crazy fun. We actually bought some for the nursery, and the kids love them. Way worth the extra cost over regular bubbles.
Tami and Jared let us sleep in their bed while they slept upstairs on the floor. I really think they were just trying to find a use for their weird hallways (ask Tami if you don’t know about them)
On our last day I made a yummy shrimp boil. It wasn’t as good as the one Jessica made me a month or so before, but it was still really good. Shrimp rock!

I'm glad you got to make the shrimp boil for an appreciative audience! I agree, Gymboree bubbles are totally worth it, we love them.
Sounds like fun. Except the being up at one to get free songs. That sounds CRAZY.
Jared has gotten so many songs from that deal! We had fun kicking your trash at settlers!
We love playing games, glad you had fun and still wish we could have been there!
